eQuality Support is proud to continue its role as the Disability Access and Inclusion Partner for the Ballarat Marathon 2026, marking the second year of our three-year partnership (2025–2027).
Our partnership reflects a shared belief that inclusion in community sport should mean everyone can find their place, whether that’s on the course, on the sidelines or helping behind the scenes.
Reflecting on 2025: Inclusion in Action
The 2025 Ballarat Marathon truly embodies that spirit, a weekend full of determination, celebration and connection.
With eQuality Support’s involvement, the event became more accessible than ever, proving that participation isn’t just about running; it’s about running, cheering and volunteering together.
Highlights included:
- Supporter signs – more than 2,500 distributed across the course to cheer on runners and walkers.
- Our water station, staffed by eQuality Support volunteers, which became a key energy stop for participants and spectators alike.
- Ambassador and pacer roles, proudly represented by members of the eQuality Support community.
- Inclusion Teams, bringing together clients, Disability Support Workers, families and staff to take on the 5km event side-by-side.
The result? Greater visibility for inclusion in sport, stronger community connections and a powerful message that every moment has potential.
Looking Ahead to 2026
Building on the momentum of 2025, eQuality Support’s 2026 involvement will go even further.
Together with Ballarat Marathon organisers, we’ll continue to enhance the event experience through:
• Expanded activations – a larger, more interactive eQuality Support water station and cheer zone.
• Storytelling opportunities – showcasing personal stories of inclusion, motivation and teamwork.
• Increased community engagement – encouraging more clients, staff, families and partner organisations to get involved.
Every step we take together brings us closer to a truly inclusive community event where everyone belongs.
Save the Date
The Ballarat Marathon 2026 will take place on 25–26 April 2026.
