The most fulfilling aspects of working in disability has definitely been watching clients achieve their personal goals – no matter how big or small.
What advice would you give to others in the disability support sector who are looking to advance their careers?
I believe having a qualification can help but overall, not being afraid to apply, you never know.
What opportunities or challenges are you most excited about in your new position?
I’m excited to continue learning and growing in my career in a supportive team environment. Really looking forward to working closely with the Ballarat team.
What does the future look like for you?
At this point, I’m just excited to be working at eQuality Support, not only with my fellow staff members but also with clients and their families. As for the future, who knows? But I can definitely see a real future in the disability sector, which is very exciting.
