On Thursday 3 July, the Ballarat office of eQuality Support was transformed into a hub of warmth and generosity as Tamika hosted her first Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. With a personal connection to the cause, Tamika brought together Support Coordinators, Behavioural Specialists, staff and clients to raise funds for cancer research, prevention, and support services.
The event was a resounding success, raising $611, more than quadrupled the original goal of $150. The morning was filled with shared treats, heartfelt conversations, and a strong sense of community.
“Hosting this event was my way of giving back and honouring those affected by cancer. I’m proud of what we achieved together.” Tamika said.
Everyone played a part in making the morning memorable, whether by donating, bringing a plate, or simply showing up to support. A special congratulations to Tamika for leading with heart and creating such a meaningful experience.
