At eQuality Support, our people are our difference. Every day, our Disability Support Workers (DSWs) show up with heart, commitment and care, and they tell us there are three things that make their work truly meaningful: purpose, connection and belonging.
Purpose
Our DSWs don’t see support as “just a job,” They talk about the pride that comes from helping someone achieve a goal or grow in confidence. As Donna put it: “I don’t feel like I go to work, they’re my purpose.” Whether it’s guiding someone though a new project or celebrating everyday wins, purpose is found in the difference they make.
Connection
The bonds between our DSWs and the people they support are genuine. Shayne described it best: “For Glenn, it starts with trust. Once he knows you’ve got his back, the rest flows.” It’s that trust, and the friendships that grow from it, that make this work rewarding not just for our clients, but for our people too.
Belonging
Our DSWs also create spaces where everyone feels included. Jacqui recalls: “Seeing kids play with Grant on the seesaw showed what inclusion really looks like.” Moments like these remind us that belonging has no age, no limits and it’s a gift that our team brings to life everyday.
Together, these voices show what makes eQuality Support unique. Our EVP isn’t a slogan on a poster, it’s lived through our people, in every shift, every smile and every small act of support.
