Shining the Light on Terri’s Remarkable Journey

Terri has been known for her love of music, playing cards, colouring in and reaching her personal milestones to our eQuality Support community. After a recent interview with Terri, we were delighted to reveal a few more of Terri’s passions and a number of messages she would like to share with her support workers.
Here is Terri’s story…
After joining eQuality Support three years ago, when asked how she would describe eQuality Support she did not hesitate, ‘Best Service Provider I have EVER been with! ‘Thank you to every single one of my carers for everything that you do and your patience towards me. I can talk to my carers about anything, from personal issues, to how I am feeling on the day, you have offered amazing support every step of the way. I truly thank you.’
When we spoke to Terri about a highlight with eQuality Support, again she didn’t hesitate in her answer.
‘My most memorable moment is when a support worker surprised me with tickets to a P!NK concert in Melbourne. This was hands down one of the best days of my life.’
Terri would also like to acknowledge her personal achievements from quitting smoking, overcoming a broken leg, shoulder injury and recovering from a stroke. This was made possible through attending regular Allied Health appointments and working closely with her support team.
‘A highlight for me is planning out my own weekly activities list and daily routine which provides a great deal of independence and freedom. I feel empowered to make my own decisions, like how many hydrotherapy classes I attend per week.’
