Meet Paige

There’s no better client advocate than Paige. Known for her high-quality support and commitment to her clients, Paige makes a difference every day.

And of course, her peers were happy to nominate her as July’s employee of the month.

Paige has been part of the eQuality Support team for almost two years and likes to describe herself as ‘part of the furniture’.

“I’ve been here for a while now and it’s been great,” she said. “I’d never actually worked in disability support before, so it’s been a really good experience.”

Before Paige began her support worker career, she worked in desk-based customer service roles.

While she loved working with people, Paige felt that she wanted a more “fulfilling” job.

“Disability support has been great because I’m making a difference to someone’s life,” she said. “It’s going above and beyond the customer service role.”

Paige has found that taking clients out into the community is one of her favourite activities at work.

Going for drives and attending plays and shows with clients has been a highlight for Paige.

“It’s really great to encourage a client to get out into the community, and see them really enjoy themselves,” she said. “I’m also really passionate about helping clients eat better or keep healthy through exercise, like physio.”

When she’s not working, Paige can be found attending live music concerts, bush walking, and camping.

“I like to get outside when I’m not at work,” she said. “But at the end of the day, this is a really rewarding job. I don’t dread going into work anymore, and that makes a huge difference for me.”
